    • Public Sources:
    We may collect publicly available information about Artists, including follower counts, engagement rates, and content quality metrics, from Social Platforms for the purpose of artist vetting and matching.

    4.1 With Other Users

  • Songwriters: When a Placement is facilitated, the matched Artist will see the Songwriter’s display name, genre, and Hook content. Additional personal information is not shared unless the Songwriter chooses to include it in their profile.
  • Artists: Songwriters will see the Artist’s display name, profile, social media handles, follower metrics, and engagement data.

    • 4.2 With Service Providers

    We share information with third-party service providers who perform services on our behalf, including:

  • Payment processing (e.g., Stripe, PayPal)
  • Email delivery (e.g., ConvertKit, SendGrid)
  • Cloud hosting and storage (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud)
  • Analytics (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Customer support tools (e.g., Fluent Support)
  • Copyright registration services

    • These service providers are contractually obligated to use your information only for the purposes of providing services to us and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

    4.3 With Rights Management Organizations

    If you use our copyright registration service or if Content ID matters require coordination, we may share relevant information with:

    • 4.4 For Legal Reasons

    5.1 Account Data

    We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. After account termination:

  • Account data is retained for thirty (30) days in case of reactivation
  • Transaction records are retained for seven (7) years for tax and legal compliance
  • Uploaded Hooks are removed within ninety (90) days unless required for in-progress Placements

    • 5.2 Communication Data

  • Support tickets: retained for three (3) years
  • Marketing communications: opt-out preferences retained indefinitely
  • Platform messages: retained for two (2) years after last activity

    • 5.3 Analytics Data

  • Usage analytics: retained in identifiable form for two (2) years, then anonymized
  • Aggregated analytics: retained indefinitely

    • 5.4 Legal Holds

    We may retain information beyond the stated periods when required by law, legal proceedings, or to protect our legal rights.
