Harvest Of Love

This Harvest Of love's for You
Written by Darius Shackleford

Verse 1

You're like no one that I 've ever known, your smile's brighter than the sun ever shone
You made a heart that had turned into stone, love again
You promised that you would always be there, all our heartache and pains we would share
You let me know that you really care, deep down within

Now that my heart is in the palm of your hand, there's one thing that I don't understand
Falling in love is not something I'd planned to do, but girl then you, showed me

Chorus

You showed me, the true meaning of love
It's so good, it's got to be from above
Like the farmer, you sowed love and love is what grew
Now this Harvest of love is for You

Verse 2

You like the rain that causes flowers to grow, you're the currents that cause the river to flow
Why you chose me, I may never know, but I can't resist
Could it be that fairy tales come true, I feel like a king when I am with you
A love like this, I never knew could exist

Now that my heart is in the palm of your hand, there's still one thing I just don't understand
Falling in love is not something I'd planned to do, but girl then you showed

Bridge

If you'd told me that I'd fall in love again, I would have said you were out of your mind
How could I have known I'd meet someone like you, so thoughtful and kind
