Turn off the TV  I'm so sick of watching

All of this hatred and meanness and strife 

People are hurting, children are dying 

There's way too much darkness, not enough light 

I been hoping I been prayin', that it's not too late for changing 

There's still time for making things right

I'm not talking bout a quick fix solution 

But a remedy that will endure 

The human heart could use an infusion 

Love is the medicine, love is the cure 

Anger and fear cannot build up inside us

When  kindness and mercy flow through our veins 

A little more listening would build understanding 

Forgiving each other not casting blame 

Yes I believe that maybe someday 

a little love could long way in healing the whole world of pain
