Woke up this morning feeling so fine 

Bluebirds were singing, the sun oh how it shined 

Call on the phone, stopped me in my tracks 

I stood there just shaking, cancer came back 

Felt like a door had slammed in my face 

Fell on my knees and I started to pray

When God answered all fear was erased 

With Him right beside me, I will lean on my faith

Faith over fear, the choice is so clear 

On His path I will follow, and He will draw me near 

Like a child I will trust Him, with all I hold dear  

Until my heart stopped beating, I’ll have faith over fear 

I will stand on His promise even when the world turns dark

Cling to His word for its written on my heart 

Claim sweet victory, call out His holy name 

Feel His love all around me, in Him I will proclaim
