It Never Rained At Grandma’s House

It Never Rained At Grandmas House

@Lynna & Jim Woolsey and Rick Lang

Chorus

It never rained at grandma’s house, if it did we never knew

Faith hope and love was always shining through

Wish I could go back and lay my troubles down

Where grandma and the good Lord seemed to always work it out

V1

We lived next door to grandma in our childhood years

There was a well beaten path from our house to hers

With thunder in the distance, and lightening all around

She was our shelter from the storm, it never rained at grandma’s house

V2

Grandma had a way to calm our every fear

Just the sound of her voice could dry up all our tears

Sitting in her rocking chair, her bible opened wide

Hearing those stories made us feel so good inside

V3

You could surely tell grandmas heart was filled with love

So kind and so caring, she meant the world to us

Grandma was our rainbow, breaking through the clouds

She was a ray of sunshine, it never rained at grandmas house
