Sacred Ground

Sacred Ground
@Rick Lang/Lynna & Jim Woolsey
V1
Many are the roads that Jesus traveled
As He fulfilled the Prophesy
Every ounce of soul, inch of gravel
From Bethlehem to Calvary
Is sacred ground to you and me
Chorus
Sacred ground, in the garden where He prayed
Sacred ground, where He was betrayed
Sacred ground, where the stone was rolled away
Jesus was nowhere to be found, is sacred ground
V2
Jesus walked the path to Gethsemane
Peter John and James at His side
Sweat blood as He prayed on His knees
Judas kissed Him in the cheek, betrayal was complete
V3
Wooden cross on His shoulders
Forced to drag it through the streets
Blood dripping from His body
Crown of thorns for all to see
Walked to His death on Calvary
