On Our Way To Meet The King
Lyrics
On our Way To Meet The King
@Lynna & Jim Woolsey/Rick Lang
V1
An angel to them appeared
Their hearts were filled with fear
Learned of the Blessed Birth
That miracle here on earth
V2
They followed Gods holy light
That star shining oh so bright
On camels they traveled East
Fulfilling their destiny
Chorus
We're on our way to meet the King
Most precious gifts to him we’ll bring
We will rejoice, raise up our voice, His praises we'll sing
We're on our way to meet the king
V3
King Herod a jealous man
Heard of the Magi's plan
Plotted an evil deed
Those wisemen would intercede
V4
That star led them to the place
The stable where Jesus lay
To worship the Great I Am
The King of Jews, the King of Man
