Word of his birth spread so fast
The Promised One is here at last
A baby child lay in the hay
The reason why we celebrate Christmas Day
Chorus
He’s the talk of the town talk of the town
Spreading peace and love all around
The newborn King for whom we sing
Then like now he’s the talk of the town
A guiding star three wisemen came
They offered gifts the angels sang
They spread the news told everyone
A savior is born a new day has begun
(Chorus)
