The Promised One

The Promised One
@Rick Lang/Jim & Lynna Woolsey
V1
A thousand years before His blessed birth
God made a promise to the nations here on earth
A Messiah would be born in Bethlehem
Bringing hope and salvation for all of man
Chorus
They all knew that one day he would come
Heaven would send down Gods only Son
.....The Promised One .....The Promised One
V2
Abraham to David then on down the line
Gods covenant stood the test of time
The promise handed down by the spoken word
The Baby King one day would rule the world
V3
Jesus arrived just like they were told
That promise made so many years ago
The Holy Spirit would fill the hearts of men
Show us how to live until He comes again
