We used to run a song marketplace
If a link brought you here looking for a song, that’s why. The marketplace is closed, but we’d like to know if you’d use one.
What it was
For a few years, Buy Demo Tracks was a place to find songs. Songwriters listed their unrecorded songs, each with a demo, and artists browsed them by style, key and vocal. An artist could download a track, or put a song on hold while they decided whether to record it, so the writer was paid for the time the song was off the market.
A lot of good songs passed through it, many of them gospel and country, and some were recorded. We’re grateful to every writer and artist who used it.
Why we closed it
Most of the songwriters who came to us didn’t need another place to list a song. They needed a demo that let people hear the song the way they wrote it. So that’s what we do now.
Would you use one?
We’re not promising to bring it back. But if enough artists and writers tell us they’d use it, we’ll think about it. One click is enough, and the rest is optional.
What we do now
We turn your AI demo into a real demo, sung and played by people. You send us your AI demo and your final lyrics. Our session singers and musicians record your song from scratch, and none of the AI audio ends up on the finished demo. No AI demo? A worktape or a voice memo works too.
