What we collect when you order a demo or get the checklist, why we need it, and who sees it.

Who we are
Buy Demo Tracks (“we”, “us”) runs buydemotracks.com. We turn songwriters’ AI demos into human-made demos. Questions about this policy go to [email protected].
What we collect
- When you order: your name, email address and billing address, and the order details (package, instruments, rush, revision rounds).
- Your song: the AI demo file or link you send, your lyrics, style and reference notes, vocal and key preferences, any notes you add, and the demo we record for you.
- Payment: card and wallet payments are handled by our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
- When you get the free checklist: your first name and email address.
- When you email us: your messages and anything you attach, kept in our support system.
- When you browse: cookies that make the cart, checkout and your account work, plus basic analytics that tell us which pages people visit.
How we use it
- To make your demo: confirm your lyrics and details, brief the singers and players, record, mix, deliver and handle revisions.
- To take payment and keep the records the law requires for tax and accounting.
- To answer your emails. We are email-only and reply within 1 business day.
- To send the checklist and the emails you signed up for. Every one has a one-click unsubscribe link.
- To keep track of who has bought from us, so customers don’t get sales emails for something they already have.
We don’t sell or rent your personal information.
Who sees your song
- The people making your demo. The singers, players and mix engineer working on your song get what they need for the job: your AI demo, lyrics and notes. They work for us under confidentiality agreements that keep your song private.
- Service providers that run the site for us: our payment processor, web host, email service and a basic analytics tool. They only process data on our instructions.
- Nobody else, unless the law requires it.
We don’t upload your song, lyrics or recording to AI tools, and we don’t use them to train AI.
We never post your song or demo publicly (for example as a before/after sample) without your written permission.
How long we keep it
- AI demo files from orders that were never completed are deleted automatically after 7 days.
- Files and recordings from completed orders are kept as long as we need them to deliver your order and handle revisions, plus a reasonable period after that. We delete them sooner if you ask.
- Order and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting rules require.
- Checklist subscribers stay on the list until they unsubscribe.
Your choices and rights
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails any time with the link at the bottom of every email.
- Ask us for a copy of your information, or to correct or delete it, by emailing [email protected]. Depending on where you live, you may have more rights under local law, and we’ll honor them.
Security
Uploaded demo files are stored privately. They aren’t public on the website, and only our team can download them. No system is perfect, so please don’t send us anything you don’t need to.
Age
Our service is for adults 18 and older. We don’t knowingly collect personal information from children. If you think a child has given us information, email [email protected] and we’ll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy we’ll update it here and change the effective date above.
