Terms of Service
The deal when you order a human-made demo from Buy Demo Tracks. Plain English first; ask us if anything is unclear.
Effective date: November 4, 2026
1. What we do
You send us an AI demo of a song you wrote (from Suno, Udio or any other tool), or another recording of it, such as a worktape or voice memo. Our session singers and musicians record a new, human-made demo of it. We use your recording only as a reference: no AI audio is used in the finished demo. We don’t write or rewrite songs, and we don’t pitch songs to artists for you.
You must be 18 or older to place an order.
2. Packages and prices
- Human Demo – Instrument + Vocal: a lead vocal and one instrument, either acoustic guitar or piano. Other instruments and harmony vocals are only available on Full Band.
- Human Demo – Full Band: a lead vocal and the instruments you choose, including harmony vocals if you want them.
- Rush delivery: 5 business days instead of 10, for an extra fee.
- One revision round is included with every demo.
- Extra revision rounds are arranged through support after delivery and paid for separately.
Current prices for each package, rush delivery and extra revision rounds are shown on the order page and at checkout. All prices are in US dollars and charged in full at checkout. Sales tax may apply.
3. Your song and your promises
When you order, you confirm that:
- you wrote the song, or your co-writers have agreed to this recording;
- you have the right to share your recording and lyrics with us and to have the song recorded;
- if you used an AI tool, you have followed its terms. Those terms are between you and that tool.
We may decline a song we’re not able or willing to record. If we do, you get a full refund.
4. Confirmation and turnaround
Within 1 business day of your order, we email you to confirm your lyrics, song structure, key and vocal. Work starts when you confirm those details. Your demo is delivered within 10 business days of your confirmation, or 5 business days with rush. Business days are Monday to Friday, excluding US public holidays. If you change details after confirming, the delivery date may move.
If we miss a rush deadline, we refund the rush fee.
5. Delivery
We deliver a mixed MP3 and WAV of your demo by email or download link.
6. Revisions
One revision round is included. A revision is a change to how the song as confirmed is performed or mixed, for example a sung line, a part or the balance. Changing the lyrics, melody or structure after you’ve confirmed them may need a new order. Please send revision requests within 30 days of delivery.
If you’d like more changes after your included round, email support and we’ll set up an extra revision round, which you pay for separately. If a change is needed because of our mistake, the extra round is free.
7. Who owns what
- Your song (music and lyrics) stays yours. Ordering a demo doesn’t transfer any rights in your song to us.
- The finished recording is yours outright. Our singers and players are paid by us as work-for-hire, so no royalties are owed to them or to us.
- We won’t use your song or demo publicly, for example as a sample on our website, without your written permission.
8. Cancellations and refunds
- Before work starts (before you confirm your intake details), you can cancel for a full refund. Email [email protected] with your order number.
- After work starts, we don’t give refunds. If something isn’t right, we fix it with revisions.
- If we miss a rush deadline, we refund the rush fee.
9. No guarantees about the industry
A great demo helps a song get heard. We can’t promise that any artist, producer or label will listen to it, record it or sign it.
10. Communication
We’re email-only. Everything about your order happens in writing at [email protected], and we reply within 1 business day.
11. Limits on our liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We aren’t liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses, such as lost royalties, lost income or lost opportunities.
12. Disputes and governing law
If you’re unhappy, please email us first, and we’ll work with you to sort it out informally. Our Dispute Resolution page explains the steps. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, and any dispute that can’t be resolved informally will be handled in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina. Copyright concerns are covered by our DMCA & Copyright Policy, and your personal information by our Privacy Policy.
13. Changes
We may update these terms. The version in effect when you order applies to that order.
