The Next Right Thing

The Next Right Thing
@Nancy Cardwell/Rick Lang

Chorus
Tomorrow is calling out your name
Another chance to take hold of the reins
Will you spread your angel wings
Save someone on the brink
Up to you, it’s up to me, what will be the next right thing

V1
We all know what’s wrong and what is right
You can live in the darkness or in the light
A little kindness can go a long long way
If you have Gods mercy, share His grace

V2
We can count up the good deeds from the past
And not see someone standing in your oath
When some lost helpless soul comes your way
Will we reach out, or turn and walk away

V3
In the Bible Micah told the Israelites
What the lord requires in our daily life
Love mercy, walk humbly with your King
Stop and think, do the next right thing

Bridge
A homeless man living on the street
A single mom just trying to make ends meet
A refugee wanders far from home
An older neighbor living all alone
The Golden Rule is a song we all can sing
In Jesus name, just do the the next right thing
