Better and Better

Better And Better

@Rick Lang

Chorus

Our love keeps getting better and better

We're still happy as ever when we're together

A little bit better with each passing day

The good Lord He planned it that way

Yes the good Lord He planned it that way.

V1

When I think back we sure had us a time

Just two young lovers with stars in our eyes

We had it good but could never have guessed

That our best years still lie ahead

Chorus

My eyes still light up when you walk through that door

Your kisses taste sweeter than ever before

Just like the bluebird you hear in the spring

You are the song my heart sings

V2

We talk things out more than ever before

Both older and wiser well that is for sure

There is no challenge that we'll ever face

Our love can't overtake

Chorus

Our love keeps getting better and better

We're still happy as ever like birds of a feather

A little bit better with each passing day

The good Lord He planned it that way

Yes the good Lord He planned it that way.
