Born A Mighty King
Lyrics
Born A Mighty King
@Ali Shumate/Rick Lang
V1
In a lonely stable
A promise came to be
A King was born to save us all
And set our spirits free
V2
He didn't have a palace
Nor fine riches to His name
But He rules all of creation
He's The Truth, The Light, The Way
Blessed be His name
Chorus
V3
Sent by God the Father
To live like you and me
His power would mountains
And calm the angry sea
V4
Rulers and their kingdoms
On earth will come and go
One day they would all bow down
To King Jesus on His throne
High upon His throne
Chorus
He was born a mighty King
He was born a mighty King
Lift up your voice and sing
He was born a mighty King
*Make the heavens ring (add to the last chorus)
