Oh Heavenly Light

Oh Heavenly Light
                                    @Rick Lang
Christmas Star shine so bright, up in the distant sky
Send down your light so my eyes can see
Help me to find my way, until the light of day
(Help guide me on my way, until the break of day)
For narrows the path and the night is so dark
Christmas Star
Star shining in the east, tell me oh could you be
The same one that shone o'er Bethlehem
Two thousand years ago, on that winter’s night so cold
As those wise men followed, traversing afar
Christmas Star
Beaming down on the earth, to herald the Blessed birth
You shed your light where Jesus lay
Shine down on me tonight, help make my spirits bright
Let your rays of splendor fill up my heart
Christmas star
Chorus
There is no other that shines as bright
Send down your radiance on this holy night
Oh heavenly light
