On Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve
                                    @Rick Lang
Christmas stories have been read, kids are snuggled in their beds on Christmas Eve…on Christmas Eve
For every little boy and girl, all is right with the world on Christmas Eve…on Christmas Eve
Presents wrapped beneath the tree, some for you & some for me on Christmas Eve…on Christmas Eve
Stockings have been hung with care
In hopes that St Nick comes this year
*CHORUS
Home fires are burning bright, choirs singing Silent Night
Spirit of Christmas fills the air
In every heart, on every mind, a prayer for peace for all mankind
On Christmas Eve…on Christmas Eve
On Christmas Eve…on Christmas Eve
Candles in the window sill, all is quiet and so still
On Christmas Eve…on Christmas Eve
Every hearth is ablaze, there’s a smile on every face
On Christmas Eve…On Christmas Eve
*CHORUS
Home fires are burning bright, choirs singing Silent Night
Spirit of Christmas fills the air
In every heart, on every mind, a prayer for peace for all mankind
On Christmas Eve…on Christmas Eve
On Christmas Eve…on Christmas Eve
