Peace On Earth This Christmas ?

Peace On Earth This Christmas
@Rick Lang/Nancy Cardwell Webster
V1
Let us say a prayer for peace on earth this Christmas
Every nation, every tongue, not for some but everyone
In the shadow of my fear, there’s just one song I hear
Lord let there be peace on earth the year
V2
We each hold the key to peace on earth this Christmas
Set aside all hate and pride, all the walls that divide
Repeat the angels words, night of our Saviors Birth
Peace on earth good will to men this Christmas
V3
Let Gods Holy light shine bright in us this Christmas
Fill our hearts, fill our minds, a ray of hope for all mankind
Let love calm our fear, dry up every tear
Lord give us peace for Christmas this year
Chorus
Peace across the mountains, peace across the sea
Peace across the desert, peace for you and me
If I had one wish for all of us down here
It’s peace on earth for Christmas this year
